  • Assisting with interest

Transportation and Assisting:

Lack of adequate transportation is one of the main problems facing elders who are struggling to live independently. He/she may also provide escort in public transportation for:

  • Shopping
  • Visiting
  • Eating out
  • Doctors and dental appointment
  • Banking/post office
  • Pharmacy

In addition to the task outlined above, Caring Hand In-Home caregivers can give their best care by doing extra act of care by:

  • Calling to check between visits
  • Will pick-up medication on their way to see clients
  • Bring a little joke each day
  • Bring a little smile
  • Just being a good listener
